Prepare Swiftpage mailing list

(How to enable Swiftpage Add-on)




Steps to prepare a mailing list direct from tables/views behind linked folders:


1.    Select a Folder link you want to use
This can be any folder linked to a table with at least one email column

2.    Enter search parameters
Choose an operator and enter the search value. (You can ignore this step to select all records)

% sign is a wildcard character for Like/Not like operator: %west% will find for example Amsterdam-West, West York Illinois, etc..

3.    Click Select button to start the Search

4.    GeniusConnect will show all columns by default, to hide/show columns
Right click the header and select the Customize… menu item

Uncheck columns to hide (Use Ctrl key to select Multiple Columns):


You can also reorder the columns by dragging the column to a different position.Click the Column, hold the mouse button and drag it.

5.    Click Add-> button to add only selected rows to the Send List or Click Add-all to Add all rows. (Hold Ctrl key to select multiple rows)

6.    You have to map source to destination columns

The Email Address column is mandatory and must be mapped!
GeniusConnect will save these settings per folder

7.    To make a different selection from the database, click the “Clear” button and repeat steps 2-5

8.    To use a different table/view (Folder link) repeat steps 1-5

9.    You can add a new email address manually in the New Address field and click the Add button. You can use ; separator to add multiple email addresses (;;

10. To remove rows from the Send list select the rows (Hold Ctrl key) and click Remove button

11. To use the Send List, click the “Send” Button


GeniusConnect will create a csv file in your temp folder and start Swiftpage dialogs to finalize the mailing.

Csv file path and name:


C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Temp
